M.M. (MEL) STUCKEY is the Founder of Fourth Shift Corporation, a public
company that supplies client/server-based software to the manufacturing
industry. He has been Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
since its formation in 1982. Mr. Stuckey was previously with Control
Data Corporation in senior executive positions, including Corporate Vice
President of Application Software, President of CPI, a large, high-tech
manufacturing subsidiary and Control Data Vice President for Strategic
Planning. Prior to Control Data, Mr. Stuckey was with IBM Corporation
for 15 years in sales and executive management. An author of management
books and technical reports, Mr. Stuckey is an industry authority and
speaker, which he labels demassification. His latest book, DEMASS:
