Louis R. Tomasetta – Vitesse Semiconductor (vtss)

LOUIS R. TOMASETTA, a co-founder of Vitesse Semiconductor, has been President, CEO and a Director since the Company's inception in February 1987. From 1984 to 1987, Dr. Tomasetta served as President of the integrated circuits division of Vitesse Electronics Corporation. Prior to that, Dr. Tomasetta was the director of the Advanced Technology Implementation department at Rockwell International Corporation. In this position, he had responsibility for over $50 million in programs including the ARPA GaAs pilot. Dr. Tomasetta has over 25 years experience in the management and development of GaAs based businesses, products and technology. He received a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Profile
