DR. LONNY REISMAN has served as Chief Executive Officer and as a
Director of ActiveHealth Management, Inc., since October 1998. He co-
founded ActiveHealth Management following close to 20 years of
experience as a physician and consultant to large employers concerned
about healthcare quality and costs. Dr. Reisman was a principal in the
Managed Care Group of William M. Mercer from 1991 to 1998, where he led
numerous consulting engagements with Fortune 500 corporations,
healthcare providers, suppliers, and payors that focused on managing the
demand for healthcare resources. Dr. Reisman was an attending physician
at New York Hospital and St. Luke's- Roosevelt Hospital Center between
1987 and 2002. From 1987 to 1990, Dr. Reisman was a consultant on the
corporate medical staff of Merrill Lynch & Co., where he was responsible
for identifying expense reduction and clinical improvement opportunities
in the company's self-insured medical plan. Dr. Reisman was a cardiology
fellow at the University of Chicago from 1985 to 1987, and an intern and
resident at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Medical Center in New York from 1981 to
1984. He received undergraduate and graduate degrees from SUNY at Stony
Brook and Tel Aviv University, and has published numerous medical
articles. Dr. Reisman led the development of the ActiveHealth
CareEngine' System, a clinical decision support technology platform that
received a US patent in 2004. Under Dr. Reisman's leadership,
ActiveHealth has experienced rapid national adoption of its services by
major national health plans, large employers and government payors,
