Lisa Kent – Nexpansion

LISA KENT is President and Chief Executive Officer of neXpansion, She joined neXpansion, formerly known as Netgrocer.com, in May 2000 and has been leading its strategy and business development. Prior to neXpansion, she served as the Executive Director of E- Ventures for the worldwide Baby and Kids franchise of the Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Company. Under Ms. Kent's leadership, the skin care brands sustained double-digit growth as did her women's health business. Ms. Kent was responsible for licensing and acquisitions during her most recent assignments at Johnson & Johnson. She spent over a decade in traditional brand management, driving growth on diverse brands in the women's health, skin care, and food categories. She has also held marketing and sales positions at Procter & Gamble and Nestl Baking. Ms. Kent was recently selected as one of the 'Top 40 Executives Under 40 in Retail' by Chain Store Age Magazine. In 2002, she was awarded the Princeton Tribute to Women award for her leadership in both business and the community. She also was recognized in 2001 with the prestigious 'Mothering that Works' award by Working Mother magazine for her contribution as a mentor and role model for mothers in the workplace. As a working mom herself, she helped to pioneer Johnson & Johnson's on-site childcare center and devised a flexible work environment for her entire team ' men and women alike at both Johnson & Johnson and at neXpansion. She has a Bachelor's degree from Yale University and a Master's of Management degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She has earned her red belt in Tae Kwon Do and is a New Jersey Youth Soccer coach for a third and fifth grade recreational team. Profile
