LEWIS F. MALLORY JR. is Chairman and CEO of NBC Capital Corporation. Mr.
Mallory joined Peoples Bank, Starkville, Mississippi (predecessor to
National Bank of Commerce) in June 1965 in the Officer Training Program.
He advanced through various offices to the position of President of
National Bank of Commerce in March 1974. He was elected President and
Chief Executive Officer in December 1978. He was elected Chairman of the
Board and CEO of NBC Capital Corporation and National Bank of Commerce
(wholly owned subsidiary) in September 1993. He is a member of the Board
of Directors and Executive Committee of the Board of NBC Capital
Corporation and National Bank of Commerce. He graduated with special
honors from Mississippi State University in 1965 with a degree in
Banking and Finance. He is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking
