LELAND WINES – BWC FINANCIAL CORPORATION (BWFC)

LELAND E. WINES is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bank of Walnut Creek, a position he has held since 1983. He began his banking career in Idaho in 1967, later moving to Oregon and then to California. Bank of Walnut Creek is a $450+ million, seven branch bank. His expertise has earned him numerous invitations as a national speaker, as well as several engagements in Russia and Moldova as a FSVC volunteer (Financial Services Volunteer Corp.), speaking on various aspects of financial accounting practices. Mr. Wines has been a member of a number of professional organizations including the American Bankers Association Community Bankers Council, other ABA committees and many other banking organizations. A graduate of Western State College, Gunnison, Colorado Mr. Wines earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Economics. His professional education includes the School for Bank Administration where he graduated with Honors and later served as an instructor, American Institute of Banking Basic, Standard and Advanced Certificates and BAI School of Bank Operations.
