LEE HARTWELL is President and CEO of Hemosol Corp. Mr. Hartwell is a
senior executive with 28 years of general management, corporate and
financial experience. He has an extensive background in strategic
planning, business development and mergers and acquisitions, with a
broad range of experience in the healthcare and technical services
industries. Mr. Hartwell joined Hemosol in 1999 as CFO and VP Corporate
Development and was named to his current role in July 2003. His prior
experience includes more than 24 years of diversified management
assignments, including positions as Group VP International with American
Hospital Supply Corporation, and its predecessor Baxter Healthcare, in
Canada, Europe and the Far East. Mr. Hartwell graduated from Wilfrid
Laurier University and is a chartered accountant. Profile
