LARS LIEBST is the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Tivoli in Copenhagen, Denmark. Lars Liebst, was born in Odense, Denmark on 23rd November, 1956. Educated as a light designer and stage manager at Studio and Forum of Stage Design, New York he was in 1982 cofounder of Groennegaards Teatret/the Groennegaards Theatre in Copenhagen and until 1996 the manager of that theatre. Simultaneously Lars Liebst was for nine years with the Danish State School of Drama. Seven years of which as head of department and two years as acting principal. Lars Liebst has since 1993 produced summer-ballets in Copenhagen for Copenhagen International Ballet and he has also been manager for Musik i Gr'nnegarden-concertseries. Lars Liebst was in 1996 appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of famous Tivoli Gardens founded 1843. Lars Liebst is a member of Illuminating Engineering Society for North America as well as a member of the Fund of 28th May 1948 Rolighed. Lars Liebst is a member of the Board of Directors of A/S Th. Wessel & Vett, Magasin du Nord. Lars Liebst is a member of the central board of Confederation of Danish Industries and he is also a member of The Association of General Industries' Employers. Profile
