LARRY D. RIGBY is President, CEO and Founder of ZARS Incorporated. Mr.
Rigby started his medical career with Sorenson Research Company where he
was Vice President of Sales and Marketing and played a major role in
leading the company from $1 million to $60 million in revenues over a
period of six years. Abbott Laboratories acquired Sorenson in 1980, and
is known today as Abbott Critical Care. He was founder and CEO of
CardioPulmonics, a developer of advanced artificial lung and non-
thrombogenic coating technologies, which went public in 1992 and later
merged with Innerdyne. His second venture was Alton Dean Medical where
he was Chairman, CEO and founder. Alton Dean was the developer of
patented technology and products for warming sterile solutions in-line
during infusion and/or surgical irrigation. Mallinckrodt Medical
acquired Alton Dean in 1995. Mr. Rigby was recently President of
MicroJect, a developer of a leading technology for intravenous drug
delivery, a company he founded in 1993. MicroJect was acquired in 1998
