LARRY G. STAMBAUGH is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive
Officer of Maxim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. As co-Founder of Maxim, Mr.
Stambaugh established an international development-stage pharmaceutical
company developing novel therapeutic drugs for the treatment of
Hepatitis C, liver disease and several cancers. Previous to Maxim, he
was the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer for ABC
Laboratories, a world-leading environmental research laboratory serving
Fortune 100 pharmaceutical and chemical companies. Mr. Stambaugh has
served as Chairman of the Corporate Directors Forum, a leading
organization on corporate governance, and is a Director with the
Corporate Governance Institute. He has been active in education and
development of corporate governance issues, has been a national speaker
on the topic, and in 2002 received the 'Director of the Year' award from
the Corporate Directors Forum. Mr. Stambaugh received his BBA from
Washburn University in 1969 and is a Certified Public Accountant. Profile
