LANCE FORS has been President and CEO of Third Wave Technologies, Inc.
since he founded the company in 1993. Dr. Fors received his Ph.D. in
Molecular Biology from the California Institute of Technology in 1990
and was a Post Doctoral Fellow, both under the direction of Dr. Leroy
Hood. Dr. Fors is the Principal Investigator on over $5 million of
research grants and an inventor on many of the patents awarded to the
company. Prior to Third Wave, Dr. Fors founded and managed two other
