KEVIN G. EICHNER is President and CEO of Enterprise Financial Services
Corp, a banking and wealth management company he co-founded in 1988.
Prior to being named to his current position in July 2002, Mr. Eichner
served as President and CEO of GenAmerica Financial and General American
Life Insurance companies. He joined General American in 1997 as
Executive Vice President with responsibilities for all of the company's
individual business lines and was subsequently named CEO in late 1999.
He and his team are widely credited for leading the insurance company to
a successful turnaround and through its merger with MetLife. Under his
leadership, GenAmerica led the insurance industry in new sales growth in
2001. Prior to joining General American, Mr. Eichner founded
Collaborative Strategies, Inc., in 1983 and led that company as
president and CEO through its acquisition by GenAmerica in 1997. In his
15 years as a consulting strategist, Mr. Eichner was engaged by over 100
organizations in the business and the not-for-profit world. Mr. Eichner
holds a BA degree in Social Change from Ottawa University, where he has
served as chairman of the board, and received an MBA with a double
concentration in Marketing and Organizational Behavior from The Harvard
Business School. He has served on the boards of the St. Louis Opera
Theatre, St. Louis Boy Scouts, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Repertory
Theatre, Arts & Education Council, Ottawa University, Regional Business
Council, Eden Seminary, Forsyth School and the United Way, and is active
in many other church and civic endeavors. He frequently leads strategic
planning efforts for many of these organizations and serves on the
