Kenneth Risk – George Risk Industries Inc (riska)

KENNETH R. RISK graduated in 1966 from Pratt Individual School of Learning in Omaha, Nebraska. From 1969-1971, Mr. Risk served in the U.S. Navy. This was during the Vietnam Conflict. In January 1981, he founded Platte Valley Sales & Services, Inc. This company was sold in July of 1997. Upon the death of Ken's father, George Risk, in November of 1989, he assumed the duties of President and CEO of George Risk Industries, Inc. in Kimball, Nebraska. At that time, George Risk Industries, Inc. employed approximately 75 people. Today, GRI has 300 employees with an annual payroll of $3.7 million. Mr. Risk belongs to the following organizations: 32nd Degree Mason Scottish Rites; Admiral in the Great Navy of the State of Nebraska; Commissioner of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics; Member of the Greater Nebraska Workforce Investment Board; Active pilot with over 6,000 hours and a Member of St. Hilda's Episcopal Church.
