Ken Risk – George Risk Industries Inc (riska)

KEN R. RISK is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of George Risk Industries, Inc. He graduated in 1966 from Pratt Individual School of Learning in Omaha, Nebraska. From 1969 to 1971, he served in the U.S. Navy. This was during the Vietnam Conflict. Between 1971 and 1980, Mr. Risk worked at various jobs. In January 1981, he founded Platte Valley Sales & Services, Inc. This company was sold in July 1997. Upon the death of his father, George Risk, in November 1989, he assumed the duties of President and CEO of George Risk Industries, Inc., in Kimball, Nebraska. Mr. Risk belongs to the following organizations: 32nd Degree Mason Scottish Rites; Admiral in the Great Navy of the State of Nebraska; Commissioner of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics; Member of the Greater Nebraska Workforce Investment Board. He is an active pilot with over 6,000 hours and a member of St. Hilda's Episcopal Church. Awards presented to Mr. Risk are: Outstanding Nebraska Industry Award; Third Congressional District Nebraska Small Business of the Year Award; Business Development Award; and Businessman of the Year Award.
