KEN NICOLSON – VERIDIEM

KEN NICOLSON is President and CEO of Veridiem Mr. Nicolson has held executive sales and marketing positions in the software industry for over 20 years with the past 10 years focused on the successful market leadership of several Silicon Valley startups. Prior to joining Veridiem, Ken was vice president of sales at Alphablox Corporation, a leading provider of Web-based analytical applications. Key to Alphablox's rapid growth, Ken was responsible for increasing bookings from under $2 million to over $20 million in less than two years. As vice president of marketing at Kiva Software, Ken drove an aggressive visibility campaign resulting in Kiva's recognition as a foremost application server company and ranking as one of Red Herring's Top 5 Private Companies in 1997. Before Kiva, Ken was director of marketing at Red Brick Systems. At Red Brick he negotiated significant industry relationships that contributed to Red Brick's position as a data warehousing leader and successful IPO in 1996 (NASDQ: REDB). Ken's early career was in marketing and engineering at Informix Software and IBM, the latter of which awarded him with a number of technical achievement awards.
