KEIRAN T. GALLAHUE has served as Vice President and CFO of Nanogen, Inc.
since July 1999. Prior to that, he served as Vice President, strategic
marketing of Nanogen form January 1998 to July 1999. From 1995 to 1997,
Mr. Gallahue served as Vice President of the Critical Care Business Unit
for Instrumentation Laboratory where he was responsible for the
worldwide strategic sales and marketing, and research and development
efforts for the product line. From 1992 to 1995, he held a variety of
sales and marketing positions within IL. In addition, Mr. Gallahue has
held various financial and marketing positions within Procter & Gamble
from 1991 to 1992 and the General Electric Company from 1985 to 1989.
Mr. Gallahue holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Profile
TWST: Could you begin by giving us a brief overview and history of yourcompany?
Mr. Gallahue: Nanogen was formed in 1993 with the intention of merging
microelectronics and molecular biology.
