KAREN KATZ – ADSPACE NETWORKS

KAREN KATZ is Chief Executive Officer of AdSpace Networks Ms. Katz possesses proven expertise in building organizations, boosting sales, and defining and implementing corporate strategies and tactics. In prior roles, Ms. Katz has been recognized for her ability to lead, think strategically, exercise initiative, take risks, manage a team, and execute to plan. As VP of Sales and Support at Silicon Gaming, an innovator in electronic gaming for casinos, Ms. Katz led the product team responsible for bringing the start-up company's first product to market on schedule and to its specifications. At Silicon Gaming, she built the company's 50-person worldwide direct sales and support team that deployed and serviced 3500 installations in over 100 locations. Ms. Katz set new expectations for product support, instituting the industry's first 24-hour technical support line, delivering response times of less than 1 hour for 80% of all calls, and realizing a 65% reduction in average installation times. As a corporate officer, she also helped plan and execute the company's 1996 $37M Initial Public Offering. Prior to her work at Silicon Gaming, Ms. Katz served as Director of Strategic Programs in Corporate Sales at Conner Peripherals, a hard disk drive manufacturer. At Conner, she was directly responsible for revenue growth from $32M in 1992 to $143M in 1994 with respect to specific corporate accounts. Ms. Katz has also worked as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Ms. Katz holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University. Profile
