Joseph Berenato – Ducommun Inc (dco)

JOSEPH C. BERENATO is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ducommun Incorporated. He joined the company in November 1991 as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. In January 1995, he was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, while retaining his position as Chief Financial Officer through July 1996. Mr. Berenato was promoted to President in January 1996. He assumed the additional titles of Chief Executive Officer and Board member in January 1997 and Chairman of the Board in January 1999. During the 11 years prior to joining Ducommun, Mr. Berenato was with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, most recently as Senior Vice President and Managing Director responsible for large corporate lending in 13 Western states. Mr. Berenato graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a BS degree in Engineering and is a Vietnam veteran. He earned his MA in English from the University of Virginia and an MBA in finance from New York University. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and on two mutual funds of the Capital Research Management Group. Profile
