JOHN VUKO has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
Genitope Corporation since April 2004. From 1999 to late 2003, Mr. Vuko
was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Incyte
Corporation. While he was at Incyte, he assisted the company in raising
over $620 million in two separate financings. Mr. Vuko also initiated a
long-range planning process that lead to a refocusing of the company's
business to drug discovery and development. Prior to joining Incyte, Mr.
Vuko served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
Achievement Radio Holdings, Inc., from 1997 to 1999, and ultimately held
a similar position with Ross Stores, Inc., from 1989 to 1997. From 1977
to 1989, he held several financial positions at The Cooper Companies,
Inc., including corporate development officer, and Vice President,
Treasurer and Controller for CooperVision Pharmaceuticals, a division of
The Cooper Companies. Mr. Vuko started his career at Price Waterhouse.
He holds a BA in Business from San Francisco State University. Profile
