JOHN V. MORAN joined GSE Systems, Inc., as its CEO in November 2003 and
also serves on the Board of Directors. Prior to his appointment, he was
Vice President of Operations at GP Strategies, President and CEO of GP
e-Learning Technologies, and President of the General Physics Training
and Technologies Group. He has held executive positions at Combustion
Engineering (now ABB), ICF Kaiser Engineers, and Cygna Group (an
engineering consulting firm). Mr. Moran holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine
Academy, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the
