John Gaus – Enermetrix

JOHN GAUS is co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of Enermetrix. Mr. Gaus is responsible for defining the corporate mission and messages, developing strategic relationships and defining the company's technology initiatives. He is considered a leading expert in the area of Web-based technologies and services for the energy markets. Prior to co-founding Enermetrix in 1995, Mr. Gaus worked for United Illuminating, where he served in various leadership positions, ranging from design and construction of physical infrastructure to design and implementation of an array of utility information systems. Mr. Gaus served as an officer in the United States Army in Europe. He earned a Bachelor's in Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a concentration in Power Studies from Clarkson University and has pursued post-graduate studies in business with Boston College.
