JOHN ADAMS is CFO of Sygen International Plc. He joined the Board as
Finance Director on October 15, 2001, and is also responsible for the
Group's Information Technology function. He was formerly Chief Financial
Officer of PeoplePC Inc, an Internet infrastructure company based in San
Francisco. He was responsible for leading the company's IPO, which
raised US$100 million in August 2000. Prior to that, Mr. Adams was Chief
Financial Officer and Vice President of Administration and Information
Systems of The 3DO Company, during the company's turnaround and return
to profitability. The 3DO Company is a developer and publisher of
branded interactive entertainment software. He has also held various
strategic and financial planning positions in international businesses,
at The Walt Disney Company, Pepsi-Cola Company and Hewlett-Packard. He
holds a BA in Economics from Villanova University and an MBA from the
Anderson Graduate School of Management at University of California, Los
