Jochen Zeitz – Puma Ag Rudolf Dassler Sport (pum.f)

JOCHEN ZEITZ was appointed CEO and Chairman of the Board of PUMA AG in 1993. His main priority is to oversee International Sales, Marketing and Finance. After beginning his professional career with Colgate-Palmolive in New York and Hamburg, Zeitz joined PUMA as Business Manager of Marketing Footwear in 1990. His primary responsibilities included planning and executing marketing strategies and overseeing the marketing budget of the company's footwear department. In 1991, Zeitz became Head of Marketing, and after holding the title of Vice President of International Marketing and Sales for just a few months, he was appointed CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management. At 30 years old, Zeitz became the youngest Chairman in German history to head a company listed on a German Stock Exchange. In 1995 Zeitz was declared one of the "Top Five Managers of the Year" by the German press. Zeitz was also named the 2001 Entrepreneur of the Year, by the financial publishing division of Axel Springer Verlag, the leading European publishing house. Along with his role as CEO and Chairman of PUMA, Zeitz holds titles as a member of the Sectionary Board of Deutsche Bank, as well as member of Falke's and Harley Davidson's European Advisory Boards.
