JEFFREY A. HAWTHORNE has been our President and Chief Executive Officer
since October 2003, and has been a member of our Board of Directors
since December 2003. From July 2003 to October 2003, Mr. Hawthorne was
our Chief Operating Officer. From November 2001 to July 2003, Mr.
Hawthorne was our Vice President and President, Image Processing Systems
Division. Mr. Hawthorne joined us in 1991 and has held a series of other
management positions including Vice President, Development from
September 1994 to November 2001. Mr. Hawthorne received a B.S. degree in
Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado and an M.S. degree
in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester Profile
