James Madden V – Exult Inc (exlt)

JAMES C. MADDEN, V is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Exult, Inc., a provider of comprehensive, Web-enabled integrated services designed to manage the entire human resources department for Global 500 corporations. As President and CEO since Exult's inception, he is responsible for setting the firm's strategy, building its overall business and client base, and overseeing the successful delivery of client solutions. His charter is to partner with client companies in a long-standing, value-based relationship, and to offer credentialed process delivery expertise that provides accelerated and tangible operational benefits. Prior to Exult, Mr. Madden joined MCIs $2 billion outsourcing unit in 1993 as Vice President and Managing Director of the Los Angeles office, and then became General Manager of the company's Pacific Region in 1994. In 1995 he was named President of the US and Latin American Divisions and became Corporate Chief Financial Officer in 1997. He also served as an active member of the Executive Steering Committee for each major outsourcing client. Prior to MCI, he was a Principal at Booz-Allen & Hamilton, where he created and led the firm's IT and process re-engineering practice in Southern California. Mr. Madden began his career with Andersen Consulting, where he created and led Andersen's first outsourcing practice on the West Coast. Mr. Madden graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University with degrees in Business and Geology. He has served as a Board member for several global, professional service organizations, including companies based in the US, UK and Canada. Additionally, he is a frequent speaker on technology-enabled business solutions, and sits on the Advisory Board of several professional associations and university business programs. Profile
