J.BARRY MORROW – COLLEGIATE FUNDING SERVICES INC (CFSI)

J. BARRY MORROW is Chief Executive Officer of Collegiate Funding Services, Inc. He brings a wealth of experience to CFS as a senior executive in the financial services and technology communities, including more than 25 years of experience in product strategy and development, and in technological and operational solutions development. During his recent service with the U.S. Department of Education as the General Manager of Financial Services for the Office of Student Financial Assistance, Mr. Morrow was responsible for establishing strategic relationships with more than 2,500 public and private entities, providing capital and support for education credit and for re- engineering business processes related to enterprise-wide operations. His private industry experience includes more than 15 years as the senior operations executive with Sallie Mae where his accomplishments included the startup and management of the corporation's regional operation centers network, and the management of more than $50 billion in student loan assets with a staff of 3,500 associates. Additionally, Mr. Morrow was directly responsible for a variety of corporate and industry-wide initiatives targeted at improving the overall delivery of education credit. These initiatives included being the founding director of the National Student Loan Clearinghouse, where he was the key executive architect of Sallie Mae's Class, Exports, and Laureat systems, as well as developing the Repayment Portfolio Purchase process, where he established 'best in class' customer service delivery.
