Grant Wakelin – Wideray

GRANT WAKELIN, joined WideRay as CEO in January 2005, bringing 20 years of executive management and global telecommunications experience in both the wireless and wireline industries. He spent the last four years as CEO of SS8 Networks, a leading developer of signaling and enhanced service applications, transforming the company from a pre-revenue start- up to a profitable, mature industry leader. Previously, Mr. Wakelin was president of ADC Telecommunications' Enhanced Services Division. He joined ADC in 1997 as President of ADC Metrica, based in London, which became the world leader in network performance management software for wireless and wireline carriers. Mr. Wakelin joined ADC from IBM, where he served in numerous capacities for 11 years, including that of general manager of an IBM subsidiary focused on customer service and billing applications software for the telecommunications industry. A New Zealand native, Mr. Wakelin holds an MBA from Victoria University of Wellington as well as a Bachelor of Management Studies from Waikato University. Profile
