Gordon Page – Cobham Plc (cob.l)

GORDON PAGE is the Chief Executive of Cobham Plc. Mr Page was educated at Cheltenham College and Cambridge University. He joined Rolls-Royce in 1962, where he was Head of Marketing Civil Engines (1982), Director Helicopter Engines (1985) and Commercial Director Military Engines (1988). He was also Director of Rolls-Royce Turbomeca, Arab British Engines Company, Turbo-Union, Eurojet GmbH and MTR GmbH. He joined FR Group (now Cobham Plc) in January 1990 as Managing Director of Flight Refuelling Limited. He was appointed Group Deputy Chief Executive in 1991 and Chief Executive in February 1992. He is Treasurer of the Society of British Aerospace Companies (Deputy President 1998/9, President 1997/8), a Fellow and Council Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society, a Director of the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Dorset Training and Enterprise Council and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce. Mr. Page: The founder of the group was Sir Alan Cobham, one of the UK's

most
