GEORGE M. COHEN's Wall Street career began more than twenty years ago
when he joined H.C. Wainwright, the stockbroker, which was a research
powerhouse. He brought experience as an economic forecaster and training
as a mathematician. His work included valuation studies, market dynamics
analysis and economic sensitivity measurement. He moved to Wertheim
Asset Management, in 1978, and continued working in economic analysis
and market strategy. The current business was founded in 1981 to sell
investment expertise to such large institutions as Merrill Lynch,
Citibank and Morgan Trust. In 1987, the emphasis shifted from consulting
services to money management. Ever since, it has been growing its asset
base. Profile
