Geoff Brown – Sportsworld Media Group Plc (swd.l)

GEOFF BROWN is the Chief Executive of Sportsworld Media Group Plc. He joined Media One, a small independent sports and media company in June 1998. He took the company public as Sportsworld Media Group Plc in December 1998 and has grown the business from a market capitalisation of GBP20 million to in excess of GBP400 million in the past 18 months. Sportsworld Media Group Plc is a global business in sports television, sponsorship, event and talent management. It has offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Dubai, Sydney, Melbourne, Toronto, Barcelona and Miami. Prior to joining Sporstworld Media Group, Geoff spent more than 20 years in the communications industry. He sold his Asia-Pacific based advertising group to Omnicom in 1987 and became the CEO of DBB Asia based in Hong Kong where he spent nine years building DBB into the third largest agency group in the Asia-Pacific region.
