GARY T. DVORCHAK is a Vice President, Equity Research at Sit Investment
Management in Minneapolis. Gary currently researches the technology
industry, with broad coverage that includes semiconductors, computer
hardware, database and design automation software, and satellite
communications. Gary's background blends both financial and technology
experience. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer
Science from the University of Iowa, he spent four years as a software
engineer in the computer industry, with Prime Computer and Wang
Laboratories. Upon obtaining an MBA from Northwestern University's
Kellogg Graduate School of Management, he spent time as a research
analyst at Hambrecht & Quist before joining Sit Investment. Gary's
honors include membership in Phi Beta Kappa, as well as recently earning
