GARY L. SCHWASS is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
of DQE, a multi-utility delivery and services company and services
company, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
Duquesne Light Company, a DQE subsidiary and electric utility serving
Southwest Pennsylvania. He serves on the Board of Directors of
Aquasource, Duquesne Enterprises, DQE Energy Services, Inc., DQEnergy
Partners, Inc. and Montauk, the other direct subsidiaries of DQE. Mr.
Schwass is Chairman of the Western Pennsylvania Development Credit
Corporation and a Member of their Board of Directors. He is Treasurer
and Finance Committee Chair of the Holy Family Foundation and a Member
of their Board of Trustees. He is also a Member of the Board of
Directors of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Financial Executives
Institute, a Member of the North Central Advisory Board of the
Protection Mutual Insurance Company and a Member of the Finance
