Floyd W. Pickrell, Jr. is President and CEO of Sybron Dental
Specialties, Inc. Mr. Pickrell received his undergraduate degree from
San Diego State University and his MBA from Pepperdine University. Upon
graduation, he served in the United States Marine Corps until 1973 and
began his business career in sales with American Hospital Supply
Corporation. In 1978 he was transferred to Ormco Corporation (a division
of American Hospital Supply) as National Sales Manager and eventually
became President of Ormco. In August 1993, Sybron International combined
its dental businesses, Kerr Manufacturing and Ormco Corporation, under a
newly formed subsidiary, Sybron Dental Specialties, Inc. and appointed
Mr. Pickrell as President and CEO. In December 2000 Sybron Dental
Specialties was spun-off from Sybron International to become a stand-
alone company. Mr. Pickrell is currently serving as President and CEO. Profile
