JOHN M. FALBO received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum
Engineering from the University of Texas in 1980 and is a 1987 graduate
of The Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU. He worked in
various production and reservoir engineer capacities with Amoco in
Houston before entering commercial banking in 1983 with Mercantile
Texas, now part of Bank One. Mr. Falbo performed oil and gas property
valuations for the bank through 1987 and assumed a commercial lending
role in 1987. He joined Credit Lyonnais in 1989 and now serves as First
Vice President and Manager of its Independent Oil and Gas Producers
