EDWARD MILLIGAN is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Main Street
Banks, Inc., a $1.9 billion-asset community banking organization based
in metropolitan Atlanta. Prior to his position with Main Street Banks,
Mr. Milligan was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of
First Sterling Banks, Inc. He also served previously as Executive Vice
President of First Union National Bank of Georgia and President, Chief
Executive Officer and Director of First Georgia Bank of Cobb County. He
currently serves as Chairman of the Georgia Bankers Association and he
is a Director of The Bankers Bank in Atlanta. Mr. Milligan earned a
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of
Georgia and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at
