EDWARD L. ERICKSON, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of
Immunicon Corporation, has extensive experience in the biomedical
products industry having served as President, CEO or a Director of six
such companies, three of which successfully completed initial public
offerings (IPO) under his leadership. Earlier in his career, Mr.
Erickson held executive and general management positions with The Ares-
Serono Group (now Serono, S.A.) and Amersham International (now Amersham
plc) in the United Kingdom. Mr. Erickson holds BS and MS degrees from
the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA with high distinction
from Harvard University, where he was elected a Baker Scholar and
received the Loeb Rhodes Fellowship in Finance. He is a director of
