DOUGLAS B. OTTO, co-founder of Deckers Outdoor Corporation in
1973, has served as an Executive Officer since that time and as
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer since 1982 and
as President since January 1, 2003. He has also served as
President from March 1999 through February 2000 and from 1982
through May 1998, and served as Chief Financial Officer from June
1990 through December 1992. Mr. Otto graduated from the
University of California, Santa Barbara in 1973 with a BA in
Business Economics. He is married to a lovely Australian and has
three kids. His passions are surfing, traveling and education.
