DOUGLAS G. BORROR is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
Dominion Homes, Inc., recognized as one of the largest home builders in
central Ohio and among the top 50 home builders nationally. As Chairman
and CEO, Mr. Borror is responsible for long-range planning and
management activities for the company. He grew up in the construction
industry. His father, the company's Founder, started building quality
homes in 1952. Following many years of experience in the business, Mr.
Borror was named President in 1987 and was charged with the
responsibilities for the company's homebuilding business. He took over
as CEO in 1992 and as Chairman in 1999. He is also responsible for
taking the company public in 1994. Under his leadership, the company has
substantially increased its sales and market share. Mr. Borror is very
active in the business and charitable arenas of the Columbus community.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the Huntington National Bank and
Columbia Gas of Ohio, and is the former Chairman of the Columbus
Riverfront Commons Corporation. He is a member of the Columbus Board of
Realtors and the Columbus chapter of the Young President's Organization,
where he has served as Chapter Chairman and is currently the Area
Conference Chairman. He sits on the Board of Directors for the
Wellington School, Recreation Unlimited, and the Board of Directors for
Capital South Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation. Mr. Borror is a
1977 graduate and active alumnus of The Ohio State University. Profile
