DONALD J. SHEA is President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of thehealthchannel.com., Inc. A 1955 graduate of Georgetown University, Mr. Shea began his business career in 1956 as an Administrative Assistant in the Boyle Midway Division of American Home Products. During his five years there, he was Sales Promotion Manager, Assistant to the President and a Product Manager when he left in 1961 to join Clairol, a Division of Bristol-Myers Squibb. He was Director of Sales and Marketing for the United Kingdom based in London, England. He returned to the US as Clairol's Director of Marketing, and subsequently became Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President and then President of Clairol in 1976. He became a Vice President of Bristol-Myers Squibb in 1977. He has been a Consultant to such companies as W.R. Grace & Co., DDB Needham Worldwide Advertising, SC Johnson & Co., Richardson Vicks, Inc., The Brown Group and many other companies. He was at one time President, CEO of The Neslemur Company. He was a Consultant to Biologix International Ltd., a medical device research and development company with interests in developing an Internet healthcare Website.
