DONALD GRILL, President and CEO of Fentura Financial, Inc., joined The
State Bank as President and Chief Executive Officer in 1996. A graduate
of Michigan State University, he began his financial services career in
1972 as Regional Supervisor for the Farmers Home Administration in
Howell. From 1976 to 1983, Mr. Grill was employed by Chemical Bank-Key
State in Owosso, where he advanced to Senior Vice President and Senior
Lender. After joining First of America in Kalamazoo in 1983, he became
President and CEO of First of America Bank-Frankenmuth in 1988. He later
became Executive Vice President and Corporate Banking Head of the $7
billion Southeast Michigan region of First of America. Profile
