DENNIS MCWILLIAMS joined Chrysalis BioTechnology, Inc., in 1996 and
serves as Chief Operating Officer with responsibilities for corporate
financing and strategic partnering activities. While at Chrysalis, the
company has signed three major partnerships for development of the
tissue repair compound Chrysalin, including a worldwide partnership with
OrthoLogic, Inc., for orthopedic applications. In addition, the company
completed two private placement offerings and raised several million
dollars in grant funding. Prior to joining Chrysalis, Mr. McWilliams
worked at George Kozmetsky's IC2 Institute in Austin, Texas, a
technology 'think tank' which develops and implements strategies for
economic development and technology commercialization. As a Technology
Marketing Specialist for IC2, he developed technology commercialization
strategies for a variety of public and private entities, including UTMB,
NASA and CIA labs ' including a project to apply missile detection
software to breast cancer detection. In addition, he has run his own
software development company and worked at the Ames Technology
Commercialization Center helping to establish NASA technology-based
startup companies. Mr. McWilliams received a Bachelor of Science degree
with honors from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of
Science in Technology Management from Stanford University. Profile
