Dean Hopkins – Cyberplex Inc (cx:tsx)

DEAN HOPKINS, co-founder and chief executive officer of Cyberplex, is a recognized authority on technology-driven business strategies and solutions. Selected for Deloitte and Touche's Fast 50 and Canada's top 40 under 40 in 2000, Hopkins has attracted a number of internationally recognized clients to Cyberplex that include Thomson, Royal Bank, Charles Schwab, AMD, 3M, and Handspring. Hopkins speaks regularly to the business community on the strategic impact of technology, and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The Industry Standard, The National Post, The Globe and Mail, Maclean's, and Canadian Business. He has also brought his keen sense of technology strategy and thought leadership to numerous speaking engagements. With offices in several major U.S. cities including, Boston, Austin, and San Francisco, Hopkins has positioned Cyberplex as an important player in the North American market. Prior to launching Cyberplex in 1994, Hopkins spent three years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey he advised senior managers of established Canadian corporations on a range of strategic issues. Additionally he played a leadership role within the firms information technology division. 60 staff in
