DAVID P. SUMMERS has served as Director of the Board, President and
Chief Executive Officer of Community Bank of Northern Virginia since its
inception in 1992. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant
at ITT and KPMG entering the banking industry in 1980. Mr. Summers was
Executive Vice President of Dominion Bank of Northern Virginia and was
also a member of the regional management committee for the Dominion Bank
of the Greater Washington Region, which operated 52 branch offices with
$1.3 billion in assets. He earned his BS degree in Accounting at
Virginia Tech in 1974. He has also received a degree from the Stonier
Graduate School of Banking in 1988. Currently, Mr. Summers serves as a
Board member of the Loudoun County Industrial Development Authority. Profile
