David Hicks – Applied Biosystems (abi)

DAVID A. HICKS is the Director of Marketing for Proteomics Applications at Applied Biosystems and a member of the Applied Biosystems Proteomics Research Center in Framingham, MA. In this position, he is responsible for the strategic and tactical activities, projects and planning for Applied Biosystems' Proteomics initiative. Prior to this position, Mr. Hicks was the Director of the Protein Business Unit at Applied Biosystems. Prior to the acquisition of PerSeptive Biosystems by Applied Biosystems in 1998, he was a Senior Marketing Director and Productline Manager for PerSeptive in Framingham, MA, having joined the company in 1994. From 1987-1994, Mr. Hicks was with Millipore Corp. of Bedford, MA, responsible for North American Life Science Marketing. Mr. Hicks: We are now a business group of Applera Corporation, which was

previously called PerkinElmer. The two other
