DAVID FITZPATRICK is President and Chief Executive Officer of
Shiningbank Energy. He has over 20 years experience in the oil and gas
industry, working in many aspects of the business. Mr. Fitzpatrick,
along with Arne Nielsen, started Shiningbank Energy Income Fund in 1996
and he remains the driving force behind the management team of the Fund.
He is currently a member of the Board of Governors of the Canadian
Association of Petroleum Producers. He is a member of the Association of
Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta and the
Society of Petroleum Engineers. Mr. Fitzpatrick graduated from Queen's
University in 1981 with a degree in Geological Engineering and received
an Executive Management Program certificate from Queen's University in
