David C. Sullivan – Resortquest International (rzi)

DAVID C. SULLIVAN is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ResortQuest International. As a veteran of the hospitality industry, Mr. David Sullivan has the necessary leadership and strategic capabilities in the areas of management, operations and development, to cultivate the future growth of ResortQuest International, the first branded company providing vacation rental and property management services in the premier resort destinations throughout North America. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ResortQuest, Sullivan is responsible for planning and implementing a strategic business direction for the company, including its future growth and acquisition plans, as well as increasing shareholder value, following its recent initial public offering in May 1998. Prior to forming ResortQuest, Sullivan was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Promus Hotel Corporation, a publicly traded hotel franchisor, manager and owner of hotels, encompassing the Hampton Inn/Hampton Inn & Suites, Homewood Suites and Embassy Suite brands. During his tenure with Promus Hotels, Sullivan also served as senior vice president of development and operations for Hampton Inn and Hampton Suites, and as vice president of development of the Hampton Inn brand. Sullivan's extensive hospitality industry experience also includes serving as president and chief executive officer of Memphis-based McNeill-Sullivan Hospitality Corporation, a hotel management and development company, which he co-founded. He also held various executive positions with Bass Hotels & Resorts (formerly Holiday Inns, Inc.) and American Express.
