DAVE HARESTAD, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of
eOptimize Advanced Systems Inc., has been involved in information
technology for over 14 years and since 1995 has also been heavily
involved in entrepreneurial pursuits. As co-Founder and CEO of eOptimize
Inc., he has guided the company and has taken the lead on securing
financing of over $4 million that has enabled the company's launch,
completion of its award-winning products and the beginning of its
product commercialization. Under Mr. Harestad lead, eOptimize was taken
public on the TSX Venture Exchange in April 2002 and is now a wholly-
owned subsidiary of eOptimize Advanced Systems Inc. eOptimize develops
Web-based scheduling and resource management solutions that offer
sophisticated mathematical optimization capabilities suitable for a
variety of industries. Mr. Harestad began his IT career with
HealthVISION Corporation of Vancouver, British Columbia, as a technical
lead, managing development activities on a number of HealthVISION's core
products. HealthVISION was subsequently acquired by Eclipsys
Corporation, one of the largest US information technology vendors for
the healthcare space. As Founder and CEO of Summit Solutions
Corporation, a healthcare IT solutions provider which was recognized by
the Science Council of British Columbia for Outstanding Technical
Innovation, he led the company from inception through to a successful
acquisition by TechnoLabs Canada Inc./Triple G Systems Group, which was
subsequently acquired by GE Healthcare. Profile
