Daniel Jarvis – Intrawest Corporation (idr)

DANIEL OWEN JARVIS is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Intrawest Corporation, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He received his early education in Toronto and St. Catharines, Ontario. In 1972 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors Economics) degree from Queen's University and in 1975 he received his MBA from Harvard University. Prior to joining Intrawest in July 1989, Mr. Jarvis held a number of senior financial positions within the BCE group of companies, including Treasurer of BCE Inc. Since joining Intrawest in 1989 the company has gone public in Canada and the United States and grown from $200 million in assets to over $2.5 billion. In addition to directing the capital-raising activities and financial systems of the company, Mr. Jarvis is responsible for systems development and the formulation of Intrawest's business strategy. Mr. Jarvis is a Director of Intrawest Corporation and all of its major subsidiaries as well as a member of the Board of B.C. Pavilion Corporation. Profile

Mr. Jarvis: Intrawest was formed originally as a residential multifamily

developer, but has
