DANIEL J. GROSS has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of
Enhance Financial Services Group Inc. (NYSE:EFS) since January 1995. Mr.
Gross spent his entire business career in both the life and
property/casualty insurance industry and helped found Enhance Group in
1986. Previously, he was President of Daniel J. Gross & Associates and
was a co-founder and Chairman of F.G. Holding Company. Mr. Gross also
was President of Kramer Capital Consultants and worked for Colonial Penn
Group as President of Colonial Penn Insurance Company and Vice President
of Marketing for Colonial Penn Group, and Vice President and Actuary of
Colonial Penn Life. He began his career at Equitable Life. Mr. Gross is
a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the Academy of
Actuaries. He is an avid chess player, ranked a National Master by the
U.S. Chess Federation. Mr. Gross received his B.S. degree from the Sloan
School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Profile
