DANIEL L. FLORNESS is Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief
Financial Officer of Fastenal Company. He has been the Chief Financial
Officer of Fastenal since joining the company in 1996. Mr. Florness took
over the duties of Fastenal Treasurer in 1997. He attended the
University of Wisconsin-River Falls, earning a Bachelor's Degree in
Accounting in 1986. After college graduation and before joining
Fastenal, Mr. Florness spent 10 years working for KPMG Peat Marwick LLP
in Minneapolis and New York. Profile
